Volunteer to host a participant

Host families play a vital role in our organization by serving as representatives of our community, culture and country. Many SFIP participants depend on the altruism of host families to offset the cost of living in Northern California.

Hosting an international professional is one of the most rewarding and generous acts of
charity. It is a profound statement of our intention to create a world of mutual understanding and respect. By welcoming international professionals into our homes, we open the doors to create lasting friendships and gain in-depth perspective into other cultures as well as our own.
