Volunteer & Internship Opportunities
SFIP is a small organization with a big mission and our success rests in the hands of dedicated volunteers. We are currently scaling up our marketing and evaluation efforts and are looking for talented individuals with specialized skills.
Volunteer to host a participant
Host families play a vital role in our organization by serving as a model and representative of our community, culture and country. Many SFIP participants depend on the altruism of host families to offset the cost of living in Northern California. Follow the link for more information or register today!
Volunteer Research & Evaluation Intern
We are also in need of a talented and detail oriented person to assist in a program evaluation project to assess our impact and produce a statistical report on our progress. The project will involve:
■ Data entry
■ Conducting follow-up interviews with alumni participants to complete a survey and collect testimonials
■ Compiling data and testimonials to produce a report
All of this work can be done remotely from home. SFIP is very happy to provide internship credit and/or formal recognition for the work of volunteers. Please contact us to learn more.
