San Francisco International Program (SFIP) is a non-profit organization providing affordable J-1 visa sponsorship and international professional exchange opportunities. Our programs are designed to share knowledge, build networks and develop emerging international leaders, who will return to their home countries and transform their communities.
SFIP provides J-1 visa sponsorship through three unique programs*:
Global Partners J-1 visa sponsorship in most training fields for individuals who have found their own training position.
Bridging Leaders Grant-sponsored short-term "social impact" training programs developed for small delegations.
Core Customized short-term training programs for mid- to executive level professionals in social services field or non-profit sector.
Our services include on-to-one direct support to applicants, training sites, and immigration lawyers. Since 1960, we have welcomed hundreds of international professionals from over 147 countries to the United States to train in fields such as (but not limited to):
